1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BoltHash platform, website (hash.boltopen.com), CLI tools, APIs, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BoltHash provides Node.js source protection, software licensing, and integrity verification tools. The Service includes:

  • BoltHash CLI (open-source, MIT licensed) — file integrity hashing
  • BoltHash Premium CLI — source obfuscation, license verification, device fingerprinting
  • BoltHash Dashboard — web-based management of projects, license keys, and builds
  • BoltHash API — licensing verification, CI/CD integration, and webhook endpoints

3. Accounts

You must create an account to access paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as indicated at the time of purchase. All fees are in USD. Payments are processed via PayPal or cryptocurrency (USDT/USDC). You agree to pay all applicable fees.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated.
  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
  • Free trial periods, where offered, do not require payment information upfront.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to protect or distribute malware, ransomware, or any malicious software.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Premium CLI binary.
  • Share, redistribute, or sublicense your license keys beyond the terms of your plan.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or device restrictions.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. Intellectual Property

BoltHash CLI (open-source) is licensed under the MIT License. BoltHash Premium, the Dashboard, and the API are proprietary software owned by BoltOpen. You retain ownership of the software you protect using our tools.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Enterprise customers receive SLA guarantees as specified in their contracts.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not access, read, or store the source code of your protected software.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoltHash and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or revenue, arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to paid features will cease at the end of the current billing period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where BoltOpen is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
